Walking along the shore
with skies not quite
alight

Do you know the reason

a journey though tranquil,

fades more quickly

from its tranquility?

Where so many

longed for,

missing days

Sit on shelves

I am waiting

in between

Ever the pursuit

that ends

Look where it got me

Frightened you

They became something more

Currency

I took your gifts

at the dawning

Enough to fill

an innocent

Freely

just to be

But the gifts you never told

were only on loan

A love freezer burned

Currency, laundered

  

Spin

Slanted,
your view

isn't the only spin

Trying to make me spin

around

and around again

to your view

The path you've hewn

in a straight line

upward

I'm not sorry

for my angle

shifting

Catching In the Know

Catching myself in the know

Intercepting

the confusion

of my limbo

How to show

if what I know

holds

Or becomes

merely a dark cloud

hovering

Where hopes
